Twiggy 'embarrassed' by Woody Allen interview
He was horrible to me
Former British supermodel and sixties icon Twiggy joins Lorraine to discuss the new documentary Born On The Same Day, which delves into the life stories of three people who all share the same birthday.
The extraordinary new three-part series takes a look at just how different their lives have been ...
In the show, Twiggy, real name Lesley Lawson, revisits poignant stages of her life - both memorable moments and those she'd like to forget, including one 'humiliating' encounter with filmmaker and comedy legend Woody Allen.
Twiggy, 66, who rose to fame in the sixties, was left red-faced after Allen quizzed the then 17-year-old aspiring model about philosophers during an interview that took place on her first visit to New York.
She told Lorraine: "I was so young and I was so nervous ... I didn't know any philosophers. I quickly turned it around in panic, not because I was clever, but it was a mean thing to do."
Twiggy, who this year celebrates 50 years in the fashion industry, also spoke about the joys of becoming a grandmother.
''I'm madly in love," she told Lorraine.
Born On The Same Day airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.
