Nominate your Inspirational Woman of the Year 2019

Lorraine’s Inspirational Woman of the Year award is all about celebrating the women in our lives. Since 2010, we have discovered some exceptional women who have achieved incredible feats, with the winner being chosen by our viewers.

This year is no different as we search for Lorraine’s Inspirational Woman of Year 2019. We want to hear about the extraordinary women in your life. The women who tirelessly work to help others. The women who face adversity with courage and determination, who refuse to stand back and see others suffer. The women whose love and kindness has changed the lives of you and those around you. It could be a friend, family member, neighbour or even a colleague. If you know a woman who deserves to be recognised, get in touch and tell us about her!

To make a nomination, send an email to Lorraine@itv.com with ‘Woman of the Year’ in the subject line and the following information in the body of the email:o Your name and the name of your Nominee;o Your relationship to the Nominee;o Your telephone number;o Your Nominee’s telephone number;o A headshot photo of the Nominee in colour and in JPEG format up to 10MB in size; ando A description (to be no greater than 250 words) outlining why the nominee should be awarded the Inspirational Woman of the Year award including how the nominee has:- dedicated a large amount of time to an organisation, community or specific people;- gone above and beyond the call of duty;- shown care and compassion;- broken down barriers for the better;- overcome obstacles against the odds to make a difference.

Please note that any entries that are over 250 words may not be considered or, at the producers’ discretion, the first 250 words only of the entry may be considered.

There will be a viewer vote in October to decide the winner.
