Money Mum's Chicken Chow Mein
This is one of Money Mum's ultimate favourites to cook; and at £1 per portion it's bound to be yours too!
Serves 4
Ingredients:
Oil for frying
1 onion, diced
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
4 carrots
½ bag bean sprouts
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 x blocks noodles, cooked
Method:
Heat a little oil in a frying pan or wok, stir fry the onion to soften. Add the chicken and stir fry occasionally until golden and cooked through.
Use a potato peeler or knife to slice the carrots very thinly.
Toss the carrots and beansprouts into the pan, cooking and stirring for a few minutes. Splash in the soy sauce and toss through the warm noodles. Mixing to combine everything before serving.
