Michele Dotrice on Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em revival
Doing this with Michael again is just wonderful!
Some Mothers Do Ave' Em' star Michele Dotrice joins Lorraine to talk about Frank and Betty Spencer's return for a charity special, as well as her Olivier-nominated turn in West End play 'Nell Gwynn'.
After nearly 40 years off our screens, Michele Dotrice is reviving her role as Betty alongside Michael Crawford's iconic Frank Spencer in a one-off sketch for Sport Relief.
One of the 70s most popular British sitcoms, it followed the exploits of the loveable but hapless Frank and his long-suffering wife, Betty.
The Sport Relief skit will see calamity-prone Frank cause chaos as he races across London to visit his daughter, Jessica, who Michele revealed will be played by actress Gemma Arterton, culminating in a chance meeting with cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins at the Olympic velodrome in East London.
Just as he did in the 70s, Michael Crawford is performing all of his own stunts at the grand age of 74!
'Can you believe it? It's horrifying, terrifying!' Michele said.
A host of other famous faces also appear in the sketch including Jensen Button, David Walliams, and others that won't be revealed until the night!
The sketch airs on Friday at 7pm.
