Maxine's workouts

Hello there and welcome to the first day of the new you!

My Bikini Promise + One workout plan focuses on each area of the body individually and aims to increase your overall cardiovascular endurance, while improving muscular tone and strength! Each workout should take around 18-20 minutes, so there's no excuses! My simple, effective and fun program contains a great mix of strength-based partner work and up tempo cardio dance to help you and your plus one achieve maximum results!

All cardio dance routines can be done with your plus one for optimum motivation, while partner work can be slightly tweaked to also be done solo, so what are you waiting for? I've organised the routines into a daily running order, but my plan is versatile, so feel free to shake things up a little and follow a plan that works for you. Remember, don't make it too easy - we're here to achieve a body you can be proud of this summer!

Switch off all distractions, phones, television and laptop - and consider this ME time! Don't forget, do what you can, it's not a competition, you know your limits, push yourself and encourage one another, but don't kill yourself is my mantra.

Everyone's first time is always the hardest and most challenging, but don't give up at this stage - the routines will soon become second nature. If you struggle with rhythm and coordination, don't worry, you're in your living room and no one is judging you! What's more, your sweat has NO IDEA which way you are going, as long as you're moving it's all good.

So pull your tummy in tight and remind yourself to suck it up, even when you're out shopping - because every little helps! This will improve your core strength and give your abdominals something to think about ...

If you want to tone your arms and back, try clenching your fists, doing this will engage your muscles, try it now and notice the difference in the shape of your arms, this will also add control to your movements, those arms will be toned in no time.

Intensity will come in time, once you get the routines, or you've made up your own, you'll work much harder at it, this is GREAT, this is when you'll start to see changes in your body shape.

All I can say now is DANCE LIKE YOU DON'T CARE, it works for me!
