The proudest moment of my career is:
It's hard to pick just one. Obviously being a resident cook on Lorraine is one of my proudest achievements. I'm also pretty excited to be writing my third book, and now I've got a daytime series on ITV - the Chopping Block - which will be out in April 2016.
The first thing I do in the morning is:
Make a coffee and check my emails. That's the problem in being your own boss: office hours are pretty much 24/7. Whenever I take a day off I make sure my phone is switched off for the entire day.
The most famous person in my phone is:
Nick Grimshaw
The actor who would play me in a film about my life is:
That would be a very dull film - 26 years of eating, basically. I'm not sure who would play me. I'd need to be part of the casting process to make sure they were sufficiently greedy and unhinged... I'd like to say Tom Hardy, but so would the rest of the world.
My favourite memory from working on Lorraine:
I broke the oven door one morning and during the show I told Lorraine and she giggled. I love having a good laugh with our Lorraine.
If I wasn’t a chef/cook, I’d be:
I got a first class honours in my law degree, so I'd most likely be a solicitor or banker... Suffice to say, I'd be nowhere near as happy.
You'd be surprised to learn that:.
I got into Oxford University to study medieval and modern languages, but dropped out because I missed my family too much.
