Do you have a 'Kelly's Hero'?

Here at Lorraine we love to celebrate the best of the British public, so do you have a hero we need to know about?

Singer and I'm A Celebrity star Jake Quickenden will be fronting inspirational Kelly's Heroes, which returns in September.

The campaign will celebrate people who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help someone in their family, neighbourhood, school, hospital or social group.

What's more, Jake will be travelling the length and breadth of the country dropping in on the doorsteps of your everyday heroes!

The former X Factor star revealed his brother, Oliver, who sadly passed away in 2012 following a brave battle with bone cancer, is his everlasting hero.

''He passed away at 19 so for me to watch him, he kind of became my hero immediately, just the fact that he dealt with things so well," Jake said.

"He never moaned about anything, he just got on with it. If he walked into a room people would be like, ‘how are you?’ and he'd be like, ‘yeah I'm fine, how are you?’ It just made me think life's so short, just be nice to everyone, he was such a nice lad, he was my hero.”
