John Whaite's roast sprouts
Think you disliked the humble Brussel sprout? John Whaite has a recipe which could change your mind...

Ingredients:1kg Brussels sprouts, trimmed400g black grapesOlive oil for drizzling100g pecans, roughly chopped1 tbsp pomegranate molasses200g soft goat’s cheese
Method:
Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan
Place the sprouts and grapes into a baking tray (do not crowd the tray or they will not cook properly) and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Roast for 20 minutes, sprinkle on the pecans, and roast for 5 minutes more.
Allow the sprouts to cool slightly then drizzle with pomegranate molasses and scoop over chunks of goats cheese
