Jeremy Swift on Downton Abbey movie

It’s supposed to be happening, filming, this year but it hasn’t been locked down yet…

Well, this has made our Monday morning! Not only did we get to welcome Lorraine back after her long break, but our guest Jeremy Swift gave us some rather amazing news about Downton Abbey...

The actor, who played Mr Spratt in the show, gave us hope that a film adaption is imminent by revealing that he's seen a script. Yes!

“There is a film script which we’ve all been sent but it disappeared in a Mission Impossible stylee from our emails," he told Lorraine. “It’s just getting everybody in that same space and time. I think there is a huge appetite for it.”

There sure is. Thanks for the gossip, Jeremy! We can't wait.
