Life-saving plumber is a Kelly's Hero!
Over the past couple of months we have been surprising some of Britain's unsung heroes with a Kelly's Heroes award.
Today, Jake Quickenden surprised another incredible and deserving person, this time 23-year-old Jack Buckley.
Just over a year ago, Jack, a plumber from Lancashire, made the incredibly brave decision to risk his own health and become a live donor for a close family friend who needed life-saving liver surgery.
Jack donated 66.6% of his liver to Pat Foden-Purse who was diagnosed with polycystic liver disease around 14 years ago. Nominated by his mum for a Kelly's Heroes award, Jack's selfless act has given Pat a new lease of life!
