Chinese beef and pepper wraps

This dish will feel like a treat but it is incredibly light. Compare this to any processed Chinese food you used to eat before taking the Bikini Promise... no chemicals, additives or preservatives, just healthy ingredients made in the tastiest way.

(Serves 4)

Ingredients:

1 tbsp sesame oil1 medium carrot, cut into very thin strips (or strips cut with apotato peeler)4 spring onions, sliced thinly lengthways2 red peppers, deseeded and very thinly sliced1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed2cm piece of fresh root ginger, peeled and grated300g good-quality steak beef, cut into thin strips and allvisible fat removed2 tbsp soy sauce4 wholewheat wraps

Method:

  • Heat the sesame oil in a wok over a high heat, then add all the vegetables, garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 4 minutes

  • Next, add the beef strips and the soy sauce to the vegetables and stir-fry for a further 2–3 minutes

  • Remove from the heat and serve the beef and vegetables immediately, wrapped in the whole wheat wraps, while trying not to dribble juice down your chin!
