Change and Check Diaries: Our breast cancer awareness campaign is back!
Our Change and Check campaign is back! Make sure you stay up to date right here on our Change and Check live blog, where we'll be keeping you up to date with the latest developments in the campaign, keeping our eyes peeled for celebrity supporters and giving you much-needed advice.
Since launching last year, over 36 women have said that the Lorraine Change and Check campaign has saved their lives. And with almost one million women in the UK missing vital breast screening due to COVID-19, there couldn't be a more timely point to push our message home.
This year promises to be even bigger and better with Helen telling Lorraine about how we’re bringing the message directly to your doorstep because Royal Mail will be franking post with the Change and Check campaign.
Reiterating the importance of checking our bodies especially during the Covid pandemic, Helen explained: "As much we need to be remembering our masks every day and sanitising our hands, we need to be checking our bodies and we’re a million short on breast cancer screenings at the moment which is terrifying actually."

Sally Dynevor, Katie Piper, Dr Alex George and the ITV family take on the #ChangeAndCheck Challenge
Our #ChangeAndCheck Challenge got off to a flying start with lots of familiar faces posting booberangs in support of the campaign.
Lorraine and Helen kicked things off with their own booberang.
Coronation Street's Sally Dynevor, Katie Piper and our own Ria Hebden posed for theirs bright and early.
And our Mark Heyes got super inventive as he encouraged men to get involved too.
Lisa Potter-Dixon and Dr Alex George both opted for balls - with Lisa getting sparkly and Dr Alex posing with tennis balls.
Former Emmerdale star Samantha Giles went for baps!
And Holly and Phillip, Piers and Susanna, the Loose Women and Dr Hilary all showed their support too.
Want to get involved? Here's what you need to do.
Step 1: Check yourself for signs of breast cancer.
Step 2: Post a booberang or a fun picture like ours along with the Change + Check sticker.
Step 3: Tag your family and friends to make sure they check themselves this month and include #ChangeAndCheck in your post.
