Brendan Cox: 'I'm determined to keep Jo's legacy alive'
She's very much a present part of our lives
Almost a year after the murder of MP Jo Cox, her husband Brendan Cox joined Lorraine to reveal why he's determined to keep her legacy alive.
The mother-of-two was killed last year in Birstall, Leeds, shortly before she was due to hold a constituency surgery.
In his new book, Jo Cox: More in Common, Brendan tells Jo's story, outlining both what she believed in and what she stood for. All proceeds from the book will go to the Jo Cox Foundation.
Brendan has also been involved in helping to organise and launch The Great Get Together - a range of community events which are inspired by Jo's beliefs that ''we have more in common than that which divides us.''
The events will take place this weekend, a year on from when Jo was murdered, and people will be invited to come together for street parties, picnics, barbecues and bake-off competitions.
