7/7 survivor and anti-terror campaigner Sajda Mughal has urged Londoners to unite against terror in the wake of the Westminster terror attack which claimed the lives of four people and left many more injured.

Sajda was on a tube that was blown up by one of four 7/7 terrorists. Having survived the carnage, Sajda now dedicates her life to spreading the anti-terror message and helping families tackle extremism.

Speaking to Lorraine on today's show, Sajda said the Westminster rampage - which left four dead and dozens injured - brought back vivid memories of the London bombings 12 years ago.

She admitted she struggled to watch the distressing news coverage of yesterday's terrible events, but felt encouraged by the Dunkirk spirit of Londoners and the heroic actions of emergency services who came together amid the chaos.

''What struck me that morning was how we came together as Londoners,'' she said. ''That's what we need to do, we can't let this defeat us in anyway.''

She continued: ''These attacks are indiscriminate. They attack everyone, irrespective of age, background, faith, no faith, colour. ''
