5 things we learnt from Day 14
It was a shocking day in the Jungle as we got to know our Celebs a whole lot better and there was a surprising discovery... little old Emily has a dark side!
1) The Campmates will nick your stuff when you leave
Within moments after Noel leaving the Jungle, the Celebs were quick to realise that it meant some of his stuff was up for grabs.
Emily said: “We were so sad to see Noel go obviously, but his stuff got spread out a little too quickly for my liking...”
Nick nicked his pillow, Harry reached for the razor and all the the Celebs rejoiced at the fact there was an extra portion of beans for brekkie.
2) There’s a new Camp leader in the Jungle
James has been elected as the new Camp leader, taking over the position from a very relieved Nick.
The Celeb’s were asked to vote in a secret ballot in the Royal Palace and approaching the end, it was a three-way tie between Harry, James and Rita.
The final vote put James as the new Camp leader and cheers roared across the Camp. James said: “Being made Camp leader was something that I found very difficult. I look to Nick and the older members of the Camp for guidance normally…”
With Rita by his right-hand side as deputy we have no doubt that James will make a legendary leader.
3) The girls like to squeeze each other’s spots
Being in the Jungle doesn’t mean that all beauty regimes go out the window. Last night, Rita gave herself what seems like the biggest Bush Tucker Trial of all - squeezing everyone’s spots.
The girls rejoiced around Rita’s pimple popping, celebrating at each spot popped. Rita said: “I think loads of girls love spot popping. I don’t know why that is but we do.”
A few of the other Campmates weren’t quite as chuffed with the spot spruce up and poor Harry said he found it all a bit gross and unusual.
4) Harry has never done the washing-up
For 54 years it seems Harry really has been lapping up a life of luxury! But that was about to change as Rita and James assigned him the role of washing-up. They knew it would be a controversial move, and after picking him Rita admitted: ‘He’s gonna hate us!’
Harry will definitely be facing some extreme washing-up jobs while taking on this task. We can’t wait to see how he copes with scrubbing crocodile feet and burnt eel out of pots and pans... His wife Sandra will be thanking us later!
5) Emily is a thief
ChilliGate caused commotion in Camp as naughty Emily STOLE an extra bit of the spicy veg when plating up dinner.
It was such an unexpected move from our girl next door that nobody even suspected her! Watch out Campmates, she’ll be on the beans next time… well maybe not.
With no guilt at all Emily explained herself saying, ‘I’m sorry, but I really wanted it. I love chilli and I slaved away over that eel.’ We can’t blame you gal... it definitely spiced up dinner time!
