Maura Higgins is heading to Camp!

The TV personality is ready for anything the Jungle will throw at her, but she’s well aware it’s not going to be an easy ride!

‘I hope I make myself proud. I’m excited but also very nervous, because I’m scared of absolutely everything.’

She describes becoming a Campmate as a ‘pinch me moment’, and is looking at the positives of waving goodbye to her glamorous lifestyle.

‘I love my fake tan but I’m excited to be without it,’ she says.

‘My skin is going to be flawless. It really is a detox and I’m excited to have a phone detox too.’

The Love Island star is also excited to meet her Campmates.

‘It is quite scary going in later, because they have all met and got to know each other.

‘It’s never easy being the newbie, but I am not a shy person, so I feel like I will be fine. It will be nice to bring some energy to Camp.’

And what will Maura make of the Jungle critters?

‘I’m absolutely petrified of the eating challenge and the one with the glass around your head with spiders in,' she reveals.

‘Even talking about them, I start to sweat!’
