Sajid Javid eliminated from the Tory leadership contest
Home Secretary Sajid Javid is out of the race for Number 10 after failing to secure enough votes in the fourth ballot of Tory MPs.
The results of this morning's ballot are as follows:Boris Johnson - 157 votesMichael Gove - 61 votesJeremy Hunt - 59 votesSajid Javid - 34 votes
Conservative MPs will vote in another ballot this afternoon to determine the final two candidates - the results will be revealed at around 6pm today.
The next leader of the party - and next prime minister - will then be decided on by the 160,000 Conservative Party members in a postal ballot, with the result expected in the week beginning July 22.
