The UK Armed Forces' first transgender officer
It's a little bit of a shame that people have to live by labels
This morning we were joined by Caroline Paige - who was the first openly-serving transgender officer in the UK Armed Forces.
Caroline opened up about going through the transition in the army and initially thinking she was going to "lose" her job. She also went on to talk about how her transition damaged her relationship with her father.
Caroline's story is a true example of courage and progress and is captured in her first book, True Colours.
