Nigel Farage on advising Trump, UKIP 'altercation' and more
The little people, the put upon people have had enough
You'd have thought Nigel Farage had enough on his hands after unexpectedly being reinstated as leader of UKIP last week, as the party was plunged into a new crisis after leadership favourite Steven Woolfe was taken to hospital following an alleged "altercation".
However the controversial politician has been in America lending his advice to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and joined us live from Washington this morning to give his views on last night's explosive debate.
Farage's advisory skills was quickly put to the test as Trump was forced to apologise after his obscene remarks about women became public. However in our interview he says he thinks Trump came out on top in his second debate with Hillary Clinton.
We also asked him what landed Woolfe in hospital - and was told "we’ll find out the truth about exactly what happened."
