Meet the 'bionic' marathon woman
The absolutely inspirational Claire Lomas will be competing in her second marathon this Sunday with the aid of a high-tech 'bionic' suit.
Claire, who was paralysed from the chest down at the age of 27 in a horse riding accident, first tackled the marathon in London six years ago which she managed to walk in 17 days.
On Sunday, she'll be tackling the gruelling 26.2 miles again -this time in Manchester, which she thinks will take up to 10 days. So far, her bionic challenges have raised over £600,000 to help fund a cure for paralysis.
