How clean are your hands?

It's Global Handwashing Day tomorrow, but apparently thousands of us have dirty hands putting us at risk of E.coli, flu viruses and vomiting bugs simply because we're not washing them properly or often enough.

The majority of us scrub our hands for just six seconds, with many not even bothering after using the bathroom, leaving our hands a breeding ground for germs, according to new research.

Hygiene expert Dr Lisa Ackerley puts Laura Tobin and Kate Garraway's mitts under the microscope. Can you guess who emerged as the clean queen?
