Does believing in gender equality make you a feminist?
Feminism was the main topic of discussion today, and as you might expect with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on presenting duties there was plenty of strong opinion and debate.
One of the main talking points was about how feminism is actually defined. According to the Oxford English Dictionary it's 'The advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.'
So we're running a couple of polls, which tell a very interesting story..
Poll 1 (on our website) - Are you a feminist?Result (as of 8am on Wednesday 31 January, 2018)No - 77%Yes - 23%N.B. 86% of men voted No, while the majority of women also said No at 65%
Poll 2 (on Twitter) - Do you believe in gender equality?Result (as of 9.20am on Wednesday 31 January, 2018)No - 13%Yes - 87%
Both polls are still open, so take part by clicking on the links above.
Trisha Godard and Lynne Franks also joined us on the show to give their thoughts. Watch the full discussion above.
