Girl reunited with her hero cop 100 days on from Manchester terror attack
100 days have passed since the terror attack at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, which left 22 dead and dozens more injured.
This morning we spoke to eight-year-old Lily, her mum and PC Cath Daley who rushed them to hospital on that horrific day after Lily was left unconscious from shrapnel wounds. Their story and the events of the attack are told in a documentary airing tonight at 9pm on ITV.
Watch the full interview above.
Providing one of the most emotional moments of the documentary, Cath is reunited with Lily for the first time after safely delivering her to hospital. On the show, Lily said meeting Cath again 'was really good because she'd been missing her a lot'.
Lily also described the moment she met Ariana Grande whilst recovering from her injuries in hospital saying she was 'really funny 'cos she'd broken her arms a few times as well'.
If it weren't for Cath's quick action that evening, Lily's story could have ended very differently. Richard described her as the best of British... Lily and her mum certainly agree. Thank you on behalf of everyone.
