David Suchet on swapping the tash for the Tardis
It was the quickest decision I've ever made in 50 years. It's a legendary series and a privilege to be asked.
For 25 years, acting legend David Suchet played Agatha Christie's most famous character, Detective Hercules Poirot - famed for meticulously solving crimes and for that iconic moustache.
After bidding farewell to Poirot in 2013, Suchet's most recent role is a cameo in Doctor Who as the menacing Landlord of an old mansion.
