Should floral tributes be banned in public places?

Flowers left near the place where a burglar was stabbed to death have been branded an "insult" this week.

This week, police have responded to rising tensions over floral tributes laid for 37-year-old Henry Vincent, a burglar killed in Hither Green.

Relatives of Vincent have been tying flowers to a fence opposite the home of Richard Osborn-Brooks, 78, who confronted Vincent during a break-in at his home last week. But the tributes, which include balloons and cards, have repeatedly been torn down. Read more.
