Michael Gove: Trump is 'wrong' for pulling out of Paris Accord

The Environment Secretary Michael Gove joined us and shared his thoughts on Trump, the Conservative General Election campaign and "miscreants" running through wheat fields.

Mr Gove said President Trump was "wrong" to pull America out of the Paris climate change agreement.

He added: "I think we need international cooperation in order to deal with climate change and I think that the Paris Accord, which my friend Amber Rudd had a huge role in helping to shape, is a significant step forward."

When asked his thoughts on the Tory General Election campaign, Mr Gove said: “It wasn’t the campaign that any of us would have wanted but the Prime Minister, in front of Conservative MPs last night, took full responsibility for it."

Following Theresa May's strange confession of running through wheat fields, Piers Morgan asked Mr Gove, as Environment Minister, if he would be clamping down on future perpetrators.
