Fallon on Trident: It's the 'wrong time to gamble'

I think it would be the wrong time to gamble with our security by getting rid of it

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon

With the failed coup in Turkey, the recent attack in France and our MPs due to cast their vote concerning Trident, we spoke to Defence Secretary Michael Fallon about counter-terrorism measures being taken in the UK.

He tells us why he thinks we should keep our nuclear weapons, mentioning the possibility of IS getting their hands on some. He also assures us that the police and army will work together if needed in a sudden attack and stresses the importance of terrorists being kept in the dark of how we may respond to an attack.

Plus, Piers can't help but remind Fallon that he backed a bet he made with John Whittingdale - that if Britain voted out and Cameron resigned he's pay £1,000 to charity!
