Martin Lewis and Grief Encounter launch grief helpline for kids

On Mother's Day, Martin Lewis and Grief Encounter launched a bereavement helpline for children who need support after the death of a loved one.

It's an issue close to Martin's heart, after he lost his mum as a child. He has previously said: "Death of my mum was the end of my childhood".

Last year was the first time he had opened up to Good Morning Britain about the struggles he endured during that period.

He hopes Grief Encounter's helpline will ensure other children can find the support he felt he didn't have.

"There is no cure, but we can make it easier," he said on Good Morning Britain.
