Good Morning Britain hits the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards!

Last night the Duke of Cambridge honoured some of the UK's bravest and most selfless citizens at the Pride of Britain Awards, attended by our own presenters and Young Fundraiser of the Year, George Mathias.

The prestigious event took place last night in a glittering ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, celebrating remarkable people who make our country a better place.

George was honoured in the GMB category for raising over £39,000 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital after his younger brother James was born prematurely. James spent his first five weeks there in a coma and his family didn't know if he was going live or die.
