GMB goes to the Oscars 2019!

Good Morning Britain went LIVE from Hollywood in the Beverly Hills Hotel - an iconic place that's seen the biggest A-listers grace its halls - from Elizabeth Taylor to Frank Sinatra.

It was the crowning glory for Olivia Colman as she was named Best Actress for The Favourite, celebrating with an emotional and funny speech that broke all the rules.

Green Book won the biggest prize of the night as the surprise winner of best picture, a category largely expected to go to Roma.

Rami Malek was named best actor for his role as Freddie Mercury in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

And let’s not forget, the duet that set tongues wagging between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper!

It all added up to the most memorable Oscars ceremony in years.

Legendary Queen rocker Roger Taylor joined Mel B and Hollywood star Tatum O'Neal to pay tribute to Rami Malek's Oscar-winning performance, and described how it felt opening this year's show.

Mark Ronson popped in to make a surprise appearance, and kindly let Piers and Susanna get their hands on the Best Original Song award he won for his A Star Is Born single, Shallow.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's performance of the ballad had everyone talking - Piers insisted he spotted 'the look of love' between the pair during duet, which was so intimate even Mel B felt uncomfortable!

GMB also got a sneak-peek into the hotel's new Marilyn Monroe bungalow - a suite inspired by the actress who once called the hotel 'home'.

Guests can expect a Chanel No.5 bath amenities, a library of films and movies featuring the star herself, and Marilyn-inspired room service featuring some of her favourite foods.
