There has been a breakthrough in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease with a drug that could slow or even stop the disease. Results from drugs trials report that the treatments helped stall the mental decline of participants.
With over half a million sufferers in the UK, Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia and it's predicted that one in three babies born this year will go on to develop some form of dementia.
