Duke of Cambridge branded hypocrite over hunting
The Duke of Cambridge has been branded a hypocrite this morning following his comments supporting animal trophy hunting. William, who is a keen animal rights campaigner, has said it could be justified in certain circumstances.
The Duke of Cambridge told ITV News that "there is a place for commercial hunting", although "not everyone's cup of tea". He is confident that hunting older members of a species can help conserve a species in general, but charity Lion Aid tells GMB "this money does not go back into conservation".
Emily Andrews - Royal Correspondent at The Sun - broke the story that William had been boar hunting in Spain the day before William launched a huge wildlife appeal. Watch Emily discuss William's confusing outlook on commercial hunting, conflicting with his passion for wildlife conservation as Piers calls the entire situation a "stinking hypocrisy".
