Drug resistent superbugs could kill millions

10 million people could die every year by 2050 from drug resistant super bugs... unless we act now.

The warning comes after a major review of the effectiveness of antibiotics - and doctors are being accused of handing out the medication "like sweets". The shocking news means someone could die every three seconds from super bugs within the next 35 years, unless we can find alternative treatments.

However, it's not just doctors who are to blame - the agricultural industry has been criticised for pumping too many antibiotics into the food chain.
