Chloe beats the bullies after operation to rebuild her face
At 11 years old, Chloe Thomson's life was turned upside down when a car crash left her with countless broken bones all over her body.
Medics told her mum Jennifer to prepare for the worst as they stabilised the youngster before embarking on a string of procedures to try to repair the damage over the coming weeks.
As well as realigning and inserting metal rods into Chloes shattered legs, surgeons at the Southern General had to carry out a nine-hour facial reconstruction to repair the catastrophic damage to her face, including rebuilding her nose, jaw and eye sockets.
Now, nine years later, Chloe tells us how she'd pieced back together her life and confidence after bullies made fun of how her face looked after the accident.
