Transgender model defends 'all white people are racist' Facebook post
Instead of taking it personally please think about how to become part of the solution
L'Oreal's first transgender model Munroe Bergdorf was fired by the beauty chain after she wrote "all white people are racist" in a Facebook post detailing her frustrations with white supremacy.
Munroe joined Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid this morning to defend her comments, claiming they were made in response to the far-right demonstration in Charlottesville.
In a fiery debate, Piers said he was personally offended at the model's comments targeting all white males to which she responded: "Instead of taking it personally, please talk about how to be a part of the solution rather than the problem."
Later on she said: "We need to be thinking about what the root of racism, what the root of sexism is."
After Munroe's cheeky comments to Piers post-interview, the Good Morning Britain presenter jokingly admitted the pair would get along if the circumstances were different.
