The Rossoneri have endured a difficult season domestically, despite sitting second in Serie A they are 18 points behind city rivals Internazionale, who have already been crowned champions.

Manager Stefano Pioli's future is unclear and his side need to finish the season strongly but face a Cagliari side who are fighting for their Serie A future. Managed by former Chelsea and Leicester City boss, Claudio Ranieri, they currently are three points above the relegation zone with three games to play.

AC Milan boast a squad of internationals including England's Fikayo Tomori, Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and Ruben Loftus-Cheek though the latter is injured while Cagliari are missing key forward Nicolas Viola.
