Jersey have named their 14-man squad for World Cricket League Division 5, which takes places in South Africa next month.

Leading all-rounder Ben Stevens returns to the fold after missing World Cricket League Division 4 last year because of a health scare.

Corne Bodenstein is also included again, while star batsman Jonty Jenner is available to travel, despite appearing as 12th man for England this summer.

Jersey have a new captain in Chuggy Perchard, with former skipper Peter Gough staying on to open the batting.

Neil MacRae’s side will be joined at the tournament by Italy, Vanuatu, Cayman Islands, Ghana, Qatar, Germany, and rivals Guernsey, who named their squad last month.

Jersey won World Cricket League Division 5 on home soil in 2016, before being relegated from Division 4 with Italy in Los Angeles in November.
