Police have pulled down the extension to a farmhouse that was built after Ben Needham went missing.

At a press briefing this morning, Detective Inspector Jon Cousins told reporters that the owners had agreed to let search teams excavate land underneath the building.

The property had been identified as an area of interest for the search after a picture dating from 1991 showed that part of the building was not there when Ben went missing.

The digs on Kos are continuing for a ninth day.
