Moment '14-year-old is arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after teacher is stabbed in Bradford school'
Footage has emerged on social media appearing to show the moment a 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of a Bradford school teacher.
The boy is seen being apprehended by armed officers in Bradford city centre, just hours after the teacher - said to be Vincent Uzomah - was stabbed in the stomach during a science lesson at Dixons Kings Academy.
As the teenager is handcuffed, one officer can be heard saying: "I am arresting you on suspicion of attempted murder."
The arrest came six hours after the stabbing, which was described as an isolated incident by police.
Mr Uzomah, 50, is in a stable condition in hospital and his injury is not thought to be life-threatening.
Pupils who witnessed the stabbing would be spoken to by specially-trained officers, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.
