Wales This Week: Coronavirus - Our Changing Nation episode 10
Working from home has meant fewer people making the daily commute, with public transport operating at ninety five per cent less capacity than the same time last year. But as we start to ease out of lockdown and some of us start to get back to work, what will the commute look like in a world of social distancing? We take a look at how bus and train companies are preparing and hear from passengers, while Andrea Byrne talks to Transport Minister Ken Skates about safety, face coverings and getting people back to work.
Elsewhere, this weekend thousands of football fans would have been heading to Baku for Wales's first match in the Euro 2020 tournament, but that's just one of the competitions postponed by the pandemic. We hear from Olympian Natalie Powell about having her medal hopes pushed back a year, see how horse racing is getting back on track and speak to Brian Davies, chief executive of Sport Wales, about the impact coronavirus has had on sport. And Wales footballer Jess Fishlock shares her experience of coming back from injury in the pandemic.
