Sharp End, March 28th
As more Ukrainian citizens flee from their war-torn country, many people here in Wales have been showing their interest in housing those escaping from the conflict. Rob Osborne's been to Bridgend to meet three women who are opening up their homes to a Ukrainian family of eight. Despite their eagerness to help, the women say they are frustrated with the UK Government refugee application system, saying the process is complex and not straightforward.
Joining Rob in the studio to talk more about the topic is Sian Lewis from Urdd Gobaith Cymru and Reynette Roberts from Oasis Cardiff. Both discuss how their organisations support refugees coming here to Wales.
Also on the show Rob catches up with ITV Wales' Political Editor, Adrian Masters, and they discuss the up-and-coming local elections and what's in it for the parties.
And Plaid Cymru's party conference took place over the weekend and we sent Owain Phillips along where he caught up with their Westminster leader, Liz Saville-Roberts, to find out what's next for the party.
