Sharp End, June 14th
Wales has the highest proportion of GPs aged over 60 in the UK, with almost a quarter either at, or approaching retirement age. Owain Phillips has been to meet a GP in Caerphilly who thinks more needs to be done to recruit people to the profession across Wales.
Could travelling from North to South Wales be harder after the scrapping of the Cardiff to Anglesey air-link? Owain is joined in the studio by Rhun ap Iorwerth MS, Russell George MS and Carolyn Thomas MS to discuss more on the matter.
And how are some of the oldest in society coping with the stress of the cost of living? Owain speaks with the Older People's Commissioner, Helena Herklots, to find out what help and support is needed.
