ITV Wales News Special - Sunday June 4th
It was the biggest sporting event ever to be hosted in Wales, but as thousands of fans celebrated Real Madrid's victory over Juventus in the Champions League final, emergency services responded to a terror attack in London.
Seven people were killed and at least 48 injured when a van struck pedestrians on London Bridge. Others were stabbed. The three attackers were shot dead at the scene by armed police.
Election campaigning in Wales was suspended as First Minister Carwyn Jones described the incident as an 'appalling and cowardly attack'.
Carl Edwards was joined by former MoD Head of Counter Terrorism Major-General Chip Chapman to talk about how our security services responded to the attack and the massive operation around the Champions League final here.
