Women should feel safe to report misconduct says First Minister

Women should be able to report allegations of sexual harassment without feeling unsafe, says First Minister Carwyn Jones.

Allegations against Alyn and Deeside AM Carl Sargeant, which led to his sacking from the Welsh Government's cabinet, were reported to the First Minister's office last Monday. Mr Jones told ITV Wales Political Editor Adrian Masters that he is not aware of any other allegations against AMs, but the party leaders will meet with the Presiding Officer on Tuesday to discuss what action needs to be taken in the Assembly.
