Face To Face: Fay Jones

Adrian Masters talks to some of Wales’ leading personalities about the key moments that shaped their lives.

In this episode Adrian speaks to Fay Jones, who in 2019 became one of the first ever female Welsh conservative MPs when she was elected to represent Brecon and Radnorshire.

But politics was in her blood long before that. Her father, Gwilym Jones was a conservative MP for Cardiff and a government minister throughout her childhood.

But despite that, politics wasn’t Fay’s first choice of career, having previously worked as a researcher for the then Prince of Wales, now King Charles.

More recently, she has spoken out against the dangers politicians face, after receiving death threats from a member of the public.
