Michelle Keegan: Men, marriage and making comedy

She wowed critics with her portrayal of army medic Georgie Lane in BBC One’s Our Girl, now Michelle Keegan has swapped her camouflage attire for hooped ears and mini skirts in Sky One’s new comedy series Brassic.

"When I was in Corrie there was always comedy elements and I love doing them… I remember when I first got the scripts, I laughed out loud when I was reading them, which is quite rare. Straight away I was like ‘Yup, it’s something I want to be a part of."
