Limbline

This online resource has been created to guide individuals with congenital or acquired limb loss and their friends, family and carers through the emotional, physical and psychological process of coming to terms with limb loss. We have taken a holistic approach to limb loss and hope that through this we can provide relevant and useful information on all aspects of life after limb loss. We have tried to make the site as easy to navigate as possible and hope that you can find the information you need here. You will find that we refer to individuals with limb loss as amputees, and we would like to reassure you that this is for ease, rather than to the exclusion of children born with congenital limb absence. You will find dedicated information for children born with congenital limb absence on the website, as well as dedicated information on upper limb amputees.
