The right honourable (and royal) Penny Mordaunt on the coronation
20 million people tuned in to watch the Coronation of King Charles III & Queen Camilla on Saturday. And while all eyes were set to be on their majesties, it was Lord President of the Privy Council and Leader of the House of Commons, Penny Mordaunt, who unexpectedly made headlines. Penny carried the Jewelled Sword of Offering throughout the service, and held it proudly in front of the King as he left the Abbey.
