1) 2 For 1 Attraction Tickets With National Rail Train Tickets

If you’re travelling to certain attractions via train this Easter, you can get 2for1 with your train ticket. This includes Legoland and many major London attractions like the London Eye, the I360 in Brighton, Warwick Castle, and Sea Life/Dungeon attractions nationwide.

Some of these attractions cost up to £40/50 per person, so it could be a huge saving on a day out!

You may need to print out a voucher or book tickets to attractions in advance, which you’ll need to show alongside a train ticket. Your train ticket will need to arrive close to the attraction you’re going to.

2) Free Football Coaching For Kids

On weekends during the Easter Holidays, McDonald’s are running football coaching sessions for kids at pitches around the country.

You can sign up online to attend, where kids between 5-11 can learn football skills, play games, and make friends.

This is for both boys and girls, and the sessions are free to book. Just make sure you do it online before you go.

3) Free Movie Worth £7.99

If the weather is going to put a damper on the Easter break, you can curl up at home with a free film for the family.

Sky customers can download Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again on your Sky Box for free, and keep it forever.

To claim it, just search for it on your Sky TV, and it will come up with £0 to download. It usually costs £7.99, so it’s a nice saving.

4) Tickets to London Zoo/Whipsnade Zoo for £3 (kids) & £5 (adults)

This deal is available to those claiming Universal Credit encompassing Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment & Support Allowance, Income Support & Jobseeker’s Allowance.

Tickets are usually £31 for an adult, or £21.70 for a child, so it’s a huge saving! Tickets need to be booked online in advance, and proof of benefit needs to be brought with you too:

TIP: Have a look at other attractions that have cheap tickets for those on Universal Credit. The London Transport Museum, Kew Gardens and the Eden Project all have a similar scheme where you can get in for £1!

5) PLUS - Rainy Day guarantees at U.K. theme parks & attractions: Available at some attractions, a rainy day guarantee tends to offer customers free return tickets if their first visit is ruined by bad weather - but note, what counts as bad weather is up to the attraction. For example, one hour of rain means a free return trip at Warwick Castle and Chester Zoo, while others may base decisions on the level of rainfall, or if rides have to close.

Dining Deals

6) Free Nando’s Chicken (Worth up to £8.95)

It’s very rare to see Nando’s deals - and while the discount isn’t immediate with this one, it’s still worth knowing about.

Members of Nando’s Rewards can get a free orange reward added to their account, when they spend £20+ before the 14th April, and use their loyalty card.

You’ll be able to claim either a 1/2 chicken, burger, pitta or wrap for free between the 29th April-12th May… so it’s a bit of a slow burn… just like the Lemon & Herb.

7) Free Main, Side, Desert & Drink For Kids At Frankie & Benny’s

If you’re heading to Frankie & Benny’s while the kids are off school, they can get a 2-course meal, including a side and drink for free.

This is when an adult buys a main meal at full price. The cheapest meal I could find at my local restaurant was £11 for adults.

It’s valid Monday to Friday (not weekends) until the 12th April, and kids can choose anything from the kids menu as part of the deal!

8) Hungry Horse £15 Family Meal Deal

A family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) can eat for cheaper at Hungry Horse this Easter.

For 2 adult mains, and 2 kids meals (including a main, dessert and drink), it’s £15. That works out at £3.75 per person.

9)  2 Free Breakfasts For Kids

At Brewers Fayre restaurants nationwide, two kids under 16 can get a free breakfast when an adult breakfast is purchased.

This is available until 10:30am weekdays or 11am weekends. Adult cooked breakfasts cost £10.99, and includes unlimited food and drinks.

10) Free Crumpets Every Day For The Whole Family

There’s a way to get 2 free crumpets with butter and jam every single day for your whole family - but you’ll need to know a special passphrase.

At Morrisons Cafes, if you head up to the cashier and ‘Ask For Ellen’, you’ll be given 2 free crumpets, no questions asked.

Your whole family can do this, getting a whole meal for free. You can claim one per person per day, until the 14th April.

It’s valid at any time of day, as long as the Morrisons Cafe is open.
