Stuffed figs with fresh rocket and basil salad

Barely there, flawless skin is the must have look for Spring 2017.

In the first part of her new series, make-up Artist Wendy Rowe who counts Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller and Cara Delevigne as her regular clients, demonstrates how to achieve this with skin friendly foods - such as this tasty dish with stuffed figs.

Serves 2

Ingredients

4 fresh figs30g goats cheese4 slices of Parma hamLarge handful of rocket leavesHandful of fresh basil

Method

  • First of all preheat the oven to 210 degrees C or 190 degrees C if you have a fan oven.

  • Cut a cross in the top of four figs and carefully push your fingers inside to create a pocket. Take 30g of goats cheese and push a quarter of the cheese inside each (it’s a bit messy!) but tastes delicious.

  • Wrap each fig in a slice of Parma ham and place it upright on a baking tray.

  • Place in the oven, reduce the heat to 160 degrees / 140 degrees for a fan oven and cook for 10 minutes or until they look done.

  • Serve on a bed of rocket and fresh basil leaves
